Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
In 2019, we created our CSR strategy. Its aim was to bring together and recognise the range of CSR activities we were already doing and to outline future commitments. We wanted to show how we’re contributing to sustainable development and adopting responsible behaviors that reflect our core values as a trusted health and safety business.
Part of that commitment is sponsorship and charitable giving. We actively support local sports teams and the communities in which we operate. So, we were delighted to be asked to be a sponsor of the Fleur De Lys football team.

Fleur De Lys Portsmouth Youth Football Club
Fleur De Lys football club was founded in 1977, providing youth football teams within the Portsmouth area. Over the years they have grown and become one of the district’s most established youth football clubs, running as many as 30 teams across age groups between U6 - U18. And in 2008 Fleur De Lys Victory was formed, being coached by Colin Nash.
Football league
After 12 years playing in the Portsmouth Youth leagues the team continued into men’s football and now plays in the City of Portsmouth Sunday Football Leagues.
This progression from youth to men’s football is very rare, they are currently the only team in Portsmouth to have done so. This is all the more impressive by the fact that the majority of the squad players today have been together for 8 or more seasons. Some have been part of the club for as many as 10 and 12yrs. Tom Webb, (bottom left row) was an original player at 6 years old.
The squad is the youngest in the Portsmouth leagues, being made up of 19/20-year-old players. The squad proudly has players in the armed forces, currently commencing university, at college, or in full-time employment.
The squad has been supported by Ligtas for the last 3 years, their sponsorship enabling the team to continue from youth to men’s
