Gold Award For Ligtas

Risk management consultancy and training business, Ligtas, has achieved Gold Learning Partner status. This was awarded by the leading accreditation body for the health and safety industry, NEBOSH.

The NEBOSH learning partner programme is a quality assurance scheme designed to help people recognise learning providers that go above and beyond in their delivery of NEBOSH courses. Ligtas completed a management buy-out (MBO) in July.

In achieving Learning Partner Gold Status with NEBOSH Ligtas greatly exceeded the requirements of these six learning excellence principles:

  • Learner expectations
  • Learning environment
  • Quality of course materials
  • Qualified tutors
  • Learner support
  • Delivery evaluation

NEBOSH is recognised the world over for high quality qualifications. That’s why we need high quality Learning Partners. I’m delighted to award Ligtas with Gold Learning Partner status, a symbol of the exceptional learning experience it provides to the people taking NEBOSH qualifications.

Training

Ligtas will provide several hundred hours of NEBOSH learning in 2020 with a mixture of open courses, dedicated company learning programs, and e-learning.

Venues

Learners can attend certificate courses on general health and safety, construction safety, and fire management in:

  • Cardiff
  • Glasgow
  • Huddersfield
  • Warrington
  • London
  • Swindon
  • Ligtas will be offering the higher-level NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety in both Cardiff and Warrington.

The company has provided health and safety and risk management consultancy and training for more than 20 years across the UK. So although we’ve rebranded as Ligtas, the team has remained the same.

Achieving this recognition from NEBOSH within months of completing the MBO, shows that as a business, we’re committed to excellence. This approach is embedded into our new business and growth strategy.
