Community matters
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is important to us. We’re committed to ethical and sustainable business practices. This means we take account of our social, economic, and environmental impact. CSR is good for the planet, our employees, customers, and communities.
So, under the community strand of our commitment, we’re proud to be able to sponsor Fleur De Lys youth football team. The multi-age and gender club is based in Portsmouth and is coached by Colin Nash.
It’s more than a club, we’re a close group of friend. The club as a whole has more than 350 players from the age of 6-17yrs and are a mix of boys and girls.
Ligtas would like to wish the team good luck for the season, we just don’t envy the person responsible for washing those white shirts!
When we talked about the club with Colin, he said,
I have coached many of the boys in the youth team from the age of 6, so they’ve become more like family.
And each season Colin says this is the last! But he stated,
He just loves seeing the players learn so many life skills that they can use throughout their whole lives, like teamwork, commitment, and discipline
