Course Overview
The COSHH awareness course is designed to provide a basic level of information and knowledge to candidates regarding the classification, recognition, and assessment of exposure to and use of hazardous substances in the workplace.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Explain the reasons for conducting COSHH assessments
- Identify what constitutes a hazardous substance
- Evaluate the risks arising from hazardous substances
- Apply suitable control strategies to help manage risks
How Long Will The Course Take?
There are half-day and one-day course options.
Certification
Delegates are awarded the Ligtas Certificate in the Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) awareness.
