Fire Marshall Awareness Course Overview

This course is designed to help employees meet their legal obligations to train employees who have reaponsibility for fire safety within their day-to-day role. This course includes a practical fire extinguisher section (venue permitting). Please advide the delegates to wear appropriate footwear and bring clothing appropriate for weather conditions. 

How Long Will The Course Take?

There are half-day and one-day course options. 

Certification

Delegates are awarded the Ligtas Certificate in Fire Marshall Awareness.

This course is designed for employees with responsibility for fire safety in the workplace including fire wardens. This course will specific to the workplace activities of delegates within their job role.

Completion of the Ligtas Fire Marshall Awareness Course will alow learners to understand the following:

  • Outline of fire legal framework and responsible person
  • Fire risk assessment, hazard spotting, how fire spreads and fire triangle
  • Fire prevention and general precautions

  • Fire logbook
  • What actions to take in the event of a fire, in line with on-site procedures
