Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
CSR is important to us, so in 2019 we created our CSR strategy. Its aim was to bring together and recognise the range of CSR activities we were already doing and to outline future commitments under each of the 4 main strands.
We wanted to show how we’re contributing to sustainable development and adopting responsible behaviors that reflect our core values as a trusted, professional H&S provider. We actively support local sports teams and the communities in which we operate. As a direct result of the Covid-19 difficulties faced by many, we wanted to help our local community.
So, this week we donated some much-needed supplies to the Pontypridd foodbank, in total, we donated 123.48kg worth of food which equates to 93 meals for those in need.
According to ‘The Trussell Trust’ foodbank usage has increased by 73% in the last 5 years and 1.6 million parcels were given out last year. If you’d like to make a donation then please contact the Trussell Trust.
