The Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Fire Door Inspectors and Passive Fire Protection Inspectors. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring building safety through detailed inspections and accurate reporting, supported by comprehensive training from our experienced health, safety, and fi re professionals. This role is home-based, involving regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct thorough fire door inspections and passive fire protection surveys across a diverse range of properties, including residential, healthcare, retail, industrial, education, infrastructure, and commercial sectors.

● Ensure inspection reports and documentation are completed accurately and submitted promptly.

● Manage tasks effectively, delivering projects on time and within budget.

● Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining high client satisfaction levels.

● Work collaboratively with team members and independently manage tasks as required.

Competency Requirements:

Essential:

● Organised and proactive approach to work.

● Strong communication and customer service skills.

● Ability to manage your workload independently and within a team.

● Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office, mobile app platforms).

● Full UK driving licence.

● Commitment to professional development.

Desirable:

● Basic understanding of fire doors and fire-stopping principles.

● Awareness of health and safety principles.

● Prior experience in health and safety, fire safety, or construction/building trades.
