Job Description

With over 25 years of experience in the consulting sector, Ligtas are looking to recruit high-calibre team players. We deliver customer focussed audits, risk assessments, and general consultancy advice to enable safe environments for our clients across the UK.

Job Role:

Undertaking legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines, as well as water hygiene duties, including water sampling/temperature monitoring. Compiling schematic drawings, documents and reports for clients. Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients. Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislation. Competent with Microsoft office package. Excellent communication skills.

To deliver technically excellent water services and support the growth of the service offering. Responsible for the delivery of Ligtas water services to clients in line with the contract and agreed standards.

Locations

North (Manchester).

The Role

You will be based at home with regular travel, including some overnight stays, working closely with other Ligtas team members. You will deliver excellent services to clients across a variety of sectors, including property, manufacturing, retail, and banking. You will be client-focused, optimising performance to achieve the best results.

Qualifications & Experience:

Will ideally have completed a Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds or an equivalent WMS qualification. Experience in carrying out ACOP L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Previous experience working as a legionella risk assessor/plumber or water hygiene engineer.

  • Familiarisation with legislation and approved codes of practice
  • Will deliver Water Services Offered by Ligtas to clients
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year experience carrying out legionella risk assessments at a variety of properties
  • Experience in completing reports based on risk assessment findings and be able to provide clients with the necessary consultation/advice required to ensure compliance with all legionella related legislation, regulations and guidance
  • Suitable knowledge of legislation, regulations and guidance pertaining to legionella.
  • Good IT skills

  • Carrying out legionella risk assessments in accordance with HSG274 Parts 1, 2 & 3
  • Writing legionella risk assessments in order to present the findings of the assessment
  • Undertaking temperature monitoring and water sampling
  • Carrying out other general legionella consultancy duties including, but not limited to, legionella log books, and written schemes
  • Providing consultation to clients in order to facilitate client compliance with legionella-related legislation, regulations, and guidance
  • Acting in a project management capacity as and when required and authorised
  • Liaising with clients and client contractors throughout the process as and when required
  • Ensure effective tools, information, materials, and equipment provided for water consultants
  • Responsible for delivery of services to the standards required by the LCA and other agreed standards for clients
  • Responsible for implementing water processes and systems contained within the Business Operating Systems
  • Identify and report any system failings via Technical Water lead
  • Report via Technical water leads to further opportunities for Ligtas to grow with clients
