The first all staff conference as Ligtas
The launch of our new website and the end of 2019 gave us a great opportunity to have an all staff annual conference. The theme of which was to present our vision for 2020 and to showcase the new IT projects we’re working on. This is in line with our promise to be customer focused and the employer of choice.
Cup of tea?
After consuming gallons of tea and coffee and vast quantities of biscuits, the conference began. The healthy eating would have to wait until Monday as it was still technically the Christmas break after all! After introducing some of our newest employees, it was time for business.
I have a dream…
Simon Jones one of our directors shared a presentation which showcased our key vision and values. Everyone was then invited to share ideas of how we can make this vision a reality. This ensured everyone in the organisation was part of the process to agree the best way forward for the company. This will improve the trusted, professional, customer centered services we offer as a business.
Let’s get quizzical
Simon gave a reflection on the last 6 months since the management buyout and finished up with a quiz, the winner of which would be announced later in the evening!
So, after a quick change and as the light faded, we thought it would be a crime to miss an opportunity to say one last thank you to our staff. So, as a surprise, we booked a talented singer for staff to listen to whilst they enjoyed their favorite tipple and indulged in some delicious food. Well, it’s the start of the year, so why not!
