Permit To Work Course Overview
Every organisation has to carry out maintenance on it’s plant, equipment, processes, buildings etc. and while most will have carried out risk assessments and prepared detailed control measures to ensure safety during their day to day process at work, maintenance is often dealt with much less effectively. Major disasters such as Flixborough, Piper, Alpha, Hickson and Welch and Octel etc. resulted from failures during maintenance work.

Delegates are awarded the Ligtas Certificate in Permit to Work.

The course is appropriate for Managers, Supervisors and Engineers who advise on or oversee maintenance operations as well as those who develop Permit to Work systems. It is also appropriate as underpinning knowledge for those who issue and receive of Permits to Work.
