The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management For Construction Course Overview

The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction qualification is aimed at anyone (managers, supervisors and workers) in the construction sector. It’s ideal for anyone who needs a broad understanding of construction health and safety issues to be able to manage day-to-day risks effectively.

Holders of the qualification will be able to apply for Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM). This qualification is also eligible for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Academically Qualified Person (AQP) card scheme.

The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction comprises one unit:

NC1 Managing Construction Safely

Certification

 

The NC1 is assessed by a 48-hour, open-book examination; you must achieve a ‘Pass’ to be awarded the qualification. Exams are arranged by RRC in March, June, September, and December each year

It is important that you have a suitable standard of English language to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus. NEBOSH recommends that learners undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests.
