Legionella Responsible Persons Course Overview
The aim of this course is to provide delegated who have been assigned a role of responsibility for the management of Legionnaires disease within their workplace a foundation understanding of Legionnaires and it's causes; and what duties and responsibilities they'll have regarding effectively managing the risk from it.
The Approved Code of Practice (ACoP-L8) applies to the control of Legionella bacteria in any understanding involving a work activity and to premises controlled in connection with a trade, business of where water is used or stored i.e hot and cold water systems, cooling towers and evaporative condensers.
This course will enable you to assist the Responsible Persons to carry out the routine checks and inspections that are required to help mitigate the risks of legionnaires occurring.
How Long Will The Course Take?
This is a full day course.
Certification
Delegates are awarded the Ligats Certificate in Legionella Responsible Persons.

The Legionella Responsible Persons course is designed for any member of staff who is or may become a Legionella Responsible Person, Deputy Responsible Person, or Duty Holder for premises that contain Hot and Cold-Water Systems.
